Reduced price*
The reduced prices as well as the annual rental for children are reserved for people whose tax reference income per unit is less than or equal to €7,500.

Guarantee Deposit
The amount of the deposit depends on the type of bike hired:
- Baby bike: €100 (incl. VAT) / bike (one hundred euros)
- Mechanical bike (adult, child): €200 (incl. VAT) / bike (two hundred euros)
- Electrically-assisted bike: €800 (inc. VAT) / bike (eight hundred euros)
- Tandem bike: €800 (inc. VAT) / bike (eight hundred euros)
- Folding bike: €800 (inc. VAT)/ bike (eight hundred euros)
- Cargo bike: €1,000 (inc. VAT) / bike (one thousand euros)
- Adapted bike: €1,000 (inc. VAT) / bike (one thousand euros)

Maximum rental period for a bike with or without a subscription: 48 consecutive hours.
If the rental period is exceeded, an additional charge of €14/24h will be made for packages without a subscription, an additional charge of €6/24h for full-price subscriptions and an additional charge of €3/24h for reduced-price subscriptions.
Return charges
Bikes must be returned to the original station – where they were hired.
- Return to the original station: €0.00
- Return outside the original station: €25.00
- Penalty for failure to return the bike (loss, theft, breakage): €200

Terms and conditions and documents to be provided
For all rentals:
The rental service is available to anyone aged 18 or over.
- Please present a valid form of identification (national identity card, passport, driving licence, residence permit, or proof of residence or citizenship in an EU Member State).
- A security deposit, provided by signing a SEPA direct debit mandate authorising the direct debit, will be required in addition to your bank details. It may also be provided in cash, by cheque or by bank card (pre-authorisation), but only for rentals of one week or less. The security deposit will only be cashed by Strasbourg Mobilités Vélo in the event of theft or failure to return the bike.
For rentals of more than one week:
- You must also provide proof of address dated within the last three months confirming your residence in the Eurométropole de Strasbourg, or an employer’s certificate if you work in the Eurométropole.
To qualify for student rates:
- Please show a valid student card.
To qualify for the reduced rate:
- Present your most recent tax assessment (or notice of non-taxation) showing your reference taxable income (available only to those whose reference taxable income per person is €7,500 or less).
- Holders of the Carte Mobilité Inclusion are eligible for the solidarity fare for adapted bicycles.
- For students, present the final grant notification from the CROUS, or proof of ASAA or €1 meals (reserved for students receiving means-tested grants at levels 3 to 7, students receiving the CROUS Annual Specific Aid for Students Living Independently (ASAA) corresponding to grant levels 3 to 7, and students not receiving grants who are eligible for the CROUS €1 meal.)
PROFESSIONALS
Conditions and documents to be submitted :
For all rental requests, you must submit :
- A copy of the identity document of the person in charge of the establishment
- A KBIS extract (company), a Sirene register notice (self-employed professionals, tradespeople) or a copy of the articles of association (associations)
- A service order or purchase order for payment by bank transfer.

Self-service
CONDITIONS
Self-service bike hire is available to anyone aged 18 or over, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, subject to availability at the station.
Strasbourg Mobilités Vélo reserves the right to debit the bank account linked to the customer’s account with a fee of €200 per bike hired as a security deposit in the event of theft or failure to return the equipment.

Repairs are charged at a flat rate, including parts and labour, classified by category and type of bicycle (prices include VAT at 20%).
